There are a few lines from vegasinsider MGM that look ok this week, here we go.
I will be taking some dogs this week, road dogs even.
First is Washington vs. Detroit. Detroit is MUCH improved but I think the Washington offense gets cooking. Washington gets 2.5 pts, Washington wins this game.
Pittsburgh is a 1 pt dog at New Orleans. I like Pittsburgh going away in this one. The New Orleans downward spiral will continue.
Take St. Louis -3 vs. Carolina at home.

College football lines week 9
Simply put, I was atrocious last week. 1-3 in college and 1-2 in the NFL. 2-5 brings me to 8-6 overall. I have some work to do this week! Vegasinsider.com MGM Mirage lines are where I am going from again.
Big 10 is where I will start. Northwestern is a 3.5 pt favorite on the road at Indiana. Northwestern wins easily, this game is over in the third quarter.
Michigan is a 2.5 pt favorite on the road vs. Penn St. Penn St. is bad. Michigan will win this game by double digits and possibly save Rich Rod's job.
To the SEC, Auburn may be due for a let down game but I do not think it happens against Ole Miss. Auburn is -7, that's ok, I have them with a double digit win on the road.
Navy is a 13.5 pt favorite at home vs. Duke. Duke is not good, Navy gets a big win, probably by at least 20. Do your American duty and bet on the Midshipmen.
In the Big 12 Oklahoma is ticked. They are a 23.5 pt favorite over Colorado at home. CU is without their starting qb. OU lays a hurt on CU, probably win by 30.
My final college game is Utah covering the 7 pts vs. Air Force. I am taking another road favorite.
Should be a good weekend, watch for ISU to get win #5 on the season and one game closer to bowl eligibility. Coach Rhoads should get coach of the year if that happens.

NFL Week 7
Once again using vegasinsider.com MGM Mirage lines.
I will stay on the Tennessee train, they are -3 at home but I think that will be enough against Philly without Desean Jackson.
San Fran is -3 on the road vs. Carolina. The Panthers are bad and I think Frank Gore has a great game. Take the 49'rs.
I will take Denver -8 vs. Oakland. Oakland is a bit better but Boeller is starting...and Al Davis still owns the team. Things still look bleak in Oakland.

College picks week 8
I was a sparkling 4-0 last week on the college side and 2-1 on the NFL side. (Darn those Jets and late TD's!) I have a few more picks for this week. Again I will use VegasInsider.com MGM Mirage lines.
My first pick is Okie St @ home vs. Nebraska. I said at the beginning of the season to my friends and co-workers that Nebraska was the most overrated team in the country. I like what Okie St. is doing this year on both sides of the ball. I cannot believe Okie St is getting 5.5 at home. This is like taking candy from a baby, take Okie St as the wrong team is favored. Okie St probably wins by double digits.
Once I again I saw how good a team is after they destroyed my Iowa State Cyclones. Oklahoma is for real and they are only a 3 point road favorite at Mizzou. Mizzou has a good defense this year but I think there is too much fire power on the side of OU. I will take OU -3.
I am going with the Rajun Cajuns, they put up a good fight with Okie St for a half. LA Lafeyette is a 6.5 favorite. Take those points to the bank.
I will take Northern Illinois -9.5 @ home vs. Central Michigan. I believe Northern Illinois has their QB situation squared away.
I may get another game or two posted later this weekend.

I do not do as well with the NFL but hey, let's give it a try. I will have separate records for NFL and College picks. Again, I am using Vegas Insider, the MGM Mirage lines.

Picks for Saturday October 16 2010
I am using Vegasinsider.com, MGM Mirage as my basis. I am a recorded 1-0 so far.
So here's my picks for you gamblers to win some cash on whether it is your office pool, picks with friends, your bookie or Vegas.
I love Baylor -1.5 @ Colorado. Griffin is way too athletic and there is quite a bit of speed in the Bears. Sorry CU, will Hawkins be joining you in the Pac 10?
I am going with Utah -20 vs. Wyoming. I saw firsthand the speed of Utah when they trounced my Cyclones. This is a legit top 5 team. Utah puts up 50 in this game.
I will go with Okie St +3 vs. Texas Tech, the first dog I am going with and a road dog at that. I think Okie St. has a better defense, a better overall offense and they are not in the first year with their coach.

College Football week 7 picks
Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by my college football picks. I plan on making making picks each week against the spread using Danny Sheridan's odds from the Tuesday USA Today each week.I have to get going so I will lay out a quick pick for the week, I will have a few more for the Saturday games. I will also give you more of a background on myself as time goes on.
Take Kansas St. -2.5 vs. Kansas. I know this is a rivalry game in the Big 12 conference and that Kansas St. is one dimensional. I think there is too much Daniel Thomas for KU to stop. This game stays close until the 4th quarter but if you want to win some cash, put it on the Wildcats.
